All About This Kindergarten Teacher: Kinder Tribe First Linky Party!

Now a little about me:

 

A new adventure awaits!!

I am so excited to begin blogging for the first time ever!! I am going to begin my second year of teaching this year, and I am moving from second grade down to Kindergarten. This is an amazing and exciting transition for me. I have worked with Kindergarten in the past, but in a half day program and my school is moving to full day Kindergarten and implementing Plan-Do-Review, providing our students with an uninterrupted hour of play each day. I cannot even begin to express how ecstatic I am to be bringing play back to Kindergarten!!!

We are going to be using centers in our room throughout the day. Hearing this made me a little nervous at first because I have no experience with workshop teaching. Then I got the amazing opportunity to attend the SDE conference in Las Vegas and have come away with so many ideas that I can't wait for school to start!

While in Las Vegas I also attended the TpT Teacher Blogger meet up, which was what inspired me to start blogging as I discover what works in my classroom. I also got to meet several bloggers including the Guys of Primary.

And got to take a photo with Freckles Sinclair from Go Noodle!!

Now for the next step in this crazy adventure..............setting up my classroom.
